FEMS- Grants
As a FEMS Member Society, our Society can pass on the following unique benefits to your membership by being a part of FEMS.
Members of FEMS Member Societies can apply for grants for research and training, or for support when organizing or attending a meeting – including our Member Societies’ national and regional congresses. Every year we support meeting organizers and early career researchers and enable experts to share ideas and promote excellence in science. You do not need to be a member of a FEMS Member Society to apply for a Congress Attendance Grant.
Our definition of fields that grants can apply to includes microbiology research, education, policy, business and scientific communication. MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS FOR FEMS JOURNALS
The Federation of European Microbiological Societies, offers discounts to its members for submitting and publishing scientific articles in the different FEMS journals (https://fems-microbiology.org/about_fems/network-and-activities/journals/).
By submitting your manuscript online, LSfM members will automatically be recognized as FEMS members through identification of the name and e-mail address.
For reasons of data protection (GDPR), LSfM members willing to be registered for this purpose need to give their formal consent by filling in the form below and by clicking on the “YES” button.
Please note that FEMS would only use the LSfM membership list to automatically apply the discount based on the name and email address of members. The membership list would not be used for any other purpose (e.g. sending emails).
